April 18, 2018: Our guest speaker was Sandy Barstow, Summit County Master Gardener. Our program was on "Lasagna gardening" which is an easy time saving no till, no dig, method of creating a garden by building up layers of materials that will “ cook down” over time, resulting in rich, fluffy soil that will help your plants thrive.
March 21, 2018:Our guest speaker was Dan Pinto, the marketing and research intern, from the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center. He will tells us about the children's hoop house, salad foods, butterfly gardens, other activities featured and enrichment programs for the children. They also have many good teaching things there with all the many children in the community that they reach out to. Teachers can schedule to take their students there by booking online. It is a learning experience for us too. Join us to see for yourself. Meeting is open to the public and refreshments are served.
